A LOT of buyers and sellers continued to need the services of real estate professionals during the State of Emergency and as such real estate transactions were deemed an essential service. Whatever the reasons, the reality is we had to find a way to conduct business safely for our clients, ourselves and the general public.
Effective immediately for Buyers:
- Showings will be booked on properties only after thorough online review of all available resources
- Buyers will be provided with PPE during the showings including face masks, gloves, booties and wipes
- It is still recommended you let the agent showing the property handle door knobs, etc
- Showings will be limited to the key decision makers (i.e. husband & wife, mother/father & offspring, etc)
- Most sellers have imposed a strict 30 minute time limit on showings, as such timelines will be more spread out if doing multiple showings to ensure we can meet our timelines
Effective immediately for Sellers:
- We have always provided high resolution digital photography, virtual tours, neighbourhood reports and many other digital resources on ALL OUR LISTINGS – this will continue
- We will restrict showing times to specific hours to ensure that only serious buyers are entering your home
- We will provide PPE to ALL those entering your home (whether they are represented by us or not)
- At sellers request, we are willing to be present at all appointments to ensure adherence to the PPE usage and other standards
